Position / Assignment Purpose


As the manager or Hardware team, you will help to design and develop world class automotive wireless communication modules (2G/3G/4G/5G/WIFI and V2X).    


Key Accountabilities / Statement of Work


  • Deliver top-class hardware design within the cost budget, deliver on-time, and ensure the hardware performance meets our product specifications       
  • Manage and grow the hardware engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
  • Leads the design, development, and verification testing of hardware products per product roadmap. Ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, System Architecture, Software, Manufacture Testing, Validation, Supply Chain) to align on product requirements and deliverables
  • Lead feasibility studies for new technologies and drive innovation in product design
  • Resolve technical issues, support customer escalations, and ensure robust problem-solving
  • Document management includes external and internal documents, templates, checklists, etc.
  • Support product development process management for PM and optimize the hardware development process when needed. Making sure the team will follow our process defined and with high quality
  • Manage lab equipment, tools, and budgets to support development needs


Required Experience


  • Minimum 3+ Project and Hardware team management experience
  • Fluent Spoken English, and Chinese language capability is a plus
  • Good at planning
  • Familiar with hardware development process from product definition to mass production
  • Familiar with hardware components includes both baseband and RF, like Memory, RFFE, Crystal, Regulators
  • Familiar with defining the hardware requirement like pinout definition, hardware features like 4G/5G bands, memory solution, high speed interfaces, low speed interfaces, power management, etc.
  • Familiar with hardware architecture design, and Risk analysis and management
  • Familiar with the ECAD tools and process, Familiar with Cadence is a plus
  • Good at team resource management and planning


Required Skills and Competencies


  • Bachelor or above, Electronic technique or wireless communication background is preferred
  • Baseband Development experience in wireless products is must, and the experience based on QTI/MTK based wireless solution is a plus
  • The experience of NAD module or automotive application is preferred and a plus
  • Good English communication skill is must, and Chinese language capability is plus
