Product Line Manager

Rolling Wireless is an international company with 20+ years of experience in developing cellular modems and software for automotive market. We are worldwide the largest 2nd Tier supplier of cellular modems to the automotive industry.

Working at Rolling Wireless is joining a multicultural team at a high-growth organization.

We are hiring a Product Line Manager to support the Product Management function, including managing product lines throughout their life cycles.

Key Accountabilities / Statement of Work


This Product Line manager is responsible for managing lines of products throughout the entire product life cycles :

  • Develop and control product plans, including overall business case projection, and product life cycle gate management.
  • Work in collaboration with development centers (R&D) and Customer facing teams to manage and adapt product development planning to support customer requirements while controlling overall product business case and delivery time.
  • Define & manage priorities during the entire product lifecycle.
  • Communicate and report internally on product achievements and issues to facilitate management decision and anticipate customer escalation.
  • Monitor products performance and propose actions accordingly to maximize product profitability.
  • Support sales to create quotation for changes requests on existing products, and to prepare pricing update proposal when relevant.
  • Support sales answering RFI/RFQ leveraging existing product portfolio when possible.
  • Support quality department preparing, communicating and managing product change notification.    


Required Experience


  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related disciplines 
  • 7+ years of working experience with 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally managing embedded products for automotive industry
  • Experienced in discipline of product management and the standard tools used including the ability to develop business cases, P&L statements and forecasting mechanisms


Required Skills and Competencies


Practical skills (Know-How):

  • Hands on Product Management experience with strong customer focus
  • Experienced with business case, cost control, and profitability analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with Automotive Industry
  • Knowledge in telecom system (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G) and embedded software company offerings (Application Framework, Linux, …)
  • Knowledge in V2X solution appreciated
  • Knowledge in eCall and NGeCall solutions appreciated
  • Experience in embedded software development is a plus
