Our automotive quality processes include Failure Analysis and 8D, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Automotive Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and more.
Failure analysis and 8Ds are key inputs for the continuous improvement of Rolling Wireless’s product and process robustness and quality, with a 0 defect target.
Our factory FA and field return FA processes are geared for immediate response and action, with a 3 days/3 weeks target:
Our Quality Escalation process ensures capitalization on the failure analysis and 8D performed in relation to failures at customer or internally.
To ensure all quality requirements are met for the automotive NADs we supply, Rolling Wireless has adopted the APQP process.
Rolling Wireless uses the standardised Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to demonstrate that our design and production processes meet our customers’ requirements.
We provide PPAP documentation for all active products released to the market on request. Our PPAP documentation is generated according to the Automotive Industry Action Group’s (AIAG) “Production Part Approval Process [PPAP] Manual,” 4th edition.
Please note that PPAP delivery time may vary depending on the particular details of your request.
Rolling Wireless NADs undergo extended automotive qualification according to all applicable stress tests defined by the AEC-Q104 standard.
Proof of AEC-Q104 compliance and documentation of the test results are provided to customers as part of the PPAP documentation package (see above).
